Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports that Rondo is expected to be added to the Team USA roster for this summer's FIBA World Championship.
While every member of the US Olympic Team has declined to participate, Rondo won't be joining a team lacking talent. The squad will consist of noteable NBA figures such as Kevin Durant, Amar'e Stoudemire and Derrick Rose.
So, if you want to be like Cleveland and watch your favorite player in another uniform. Or, you're starved for more global competition now that the World Cup has ended... the FIBA World Championship will begin August 28th when the US takes on Croatia.
